I had a carpel tunnel operation just before Christmas which put me out of action for about 6 weeks. However, what a difference it has made. No more pins and needles and no more sleepless nights. It is now as good as new and even my golf has improved.
This year I have an additional five gardens in the Cringleford area to manage, with lots of lawn mowing and edge trimming, plus pruning and border maintenance. I have invested in a new self-propelled Honda Lawnmower which is already seeing plenty of action even though it is so early in the year.
My existing clients' gardens are already looking good. with the mild weather I have managed to get stuck into the borders early and cleared any leaves and weeds accumulated over the winter. The daffs are looking really good this year, and it looks like a fabulous year for Camellias. Last year lots of these lost quite a few buds to frost and just did not perform. This year they are full of bud and many are already opening and producing a great show.
Lets hope the warm weather continues into April, Happy Gardening!
